The lesson tonight was my another favorite lesson simply just because I love all the activities!! Who doesn't? It was fun, interactive, and easy to play. My husband who is also an e-learning English teacher is very good at using different kinds of e-learning tools in his lessons. He is currently teaching an e-learning class. He told me about kahoot once or twice but I didn't really pay much attention on it until in our friend's wedding. He suggested to play a game using kahoot. We set some questions about the new couple and the guests gave answers. It was very interactive and fun. Some of the guests asked us about it and they liked it. After this experience, I decided to bring kahoot into my classroom. I played with my P3 class and they were thrilled. I'll talk more about this experience in my term paper. I am amazed how technology changes my classroom. Paul also introduced a few more things like kahoot. One of them I also want to try is quizizz. It was way fun and the teacher can see how the students performed in each question and in general. And I love the Christmas design of the page :) I'll definitely think about it. It's so sad that tonight is the last lesson of this course. I'm excited about coming to class every week. Thanks Paul for your passion on e-learning and it really inspires me to be a better teacher. I hope I'll pass this course and take another class with you. Many thanks!!

Session 11 Reflection - Flipped Classroom
Tonight, Paul invited Ms Zoe Chan to class and shared the flipped classroom lesson that they prepared together. I have tried to plan a flipped classroom lesson last year because our school joined a program with iED about developing flipped classroom in primary school. I only taught P1 last year so I planned a very simple sort of flipped classroom lesson for the P1 students. Since they are very young and most of them are from mainland so they might not know how to open a video , I didn't prepare a video for them to watch instead I prepared a survey worksheet for them and asked them to interview their family. They came prepared for the next day and we did a role play activity in class instead of a boring lecturing lesson. The lesson turned out pretty good and students were highly participated. Of course, I do want to do a real flipped classroom lesson using iPad or tablet. This lesson gives me a real picture of how to prepare a flipped classroom lesson. It contains lots of preparation and much effort before the lesson. I just have a little bit crazy idea that I want to have a lesson using iPad or tablet with my P1 students in the coming unit. I am not sure if it turns out great or a mess but I want to give it a try and see the result. I was also thinking to use nearpod for my lesson so this lesson was a good time for me to make one.

Session 10 Reflection - Presentation
Tonight I tried to make two presentations with different tools. We first tried to use Padlet to share some ideas and presentation and we have done something like this few sessions ago. It's pretty user friendly. I can add videos and pictures easily. Then another one is Prezi, I have used Prezi for one of my presentations in a teaching writing class back in college. To me, I think the traditional powerpoint is easier but Prezi looks more fun and professional in some ways. Recently, I had a lesson observation. I made a presentation slide through Google. I would definitely try using one of the tools for presentations in the future. Paul also introduced Powtoon which I really want to try. The animation looks awesome and it's easy to get students' attention. I would love to try making presentation slides with this. This lesson gives me a new vision and new ideas on presenting something in a different way besides PowerPoint and Google slides.
